DOES THE SALON OFFER TREATMENTS TO BOTH MALE AND FEMALE?
No the salon only offers treatments to female clients.
WHAT SPRAY TAN DO U OFFER?
We use Amber Sun.. It comes in a variation of shades that can be used to suit each individual skin tone. Through consultation our therapist will decided which shade you will require, depending on time of year, reason for tan and skin tone.
WHAT IS THE PREPARATION FOR A SPRAY TAN?
Spray tan is best applied 2 days before an event, i.e., wedding, holiday or party. The skin needs to be exfoliated before the application of tan, you must not apply moisturiser or deodorant to the skin the day of treatment. It is best to wear loose clothing afterwards.
I`VE NEVER HAD TINTING BEFORE, DO I NEED TO HAVE A PATCH TEST?
Yes a patch test is required 24 hours before tinting treatments. As the eye area is very sensitive a reaction to tint can be extremely uncomfortable. A small test applied to the skin behind the ear. If no reaction has occurred then you can receive any tinting treatment. A reaction can be a burning or itching sensation. Redness can appear or a slight tingling sensation. If any of these occur then tinting treatment is not permitted.
I HAVE HAD TINTING BEFORE BUT NOT IN THIS SALON, DO I NEED A PATCH TEST?
No, providing you have had tinting or a test previously and have had no reaction to it then we do not require another one.
I HAVE VERY SHORT BITTEN/DAMAGED NAILS, AM I SUITABLE FOR NAIL EXTENSIONS?
In most cases yes, although we cannot guarantee the time period that they may last. We do recommend the extensions to be a slightly shorter length and infill’s to be sooner that normal for you to get the most of the treatment.
I HAVE VERY SENSITIVE SKIN, IS THERE A FACIAL SUITABLE FOR ME?
Yes we offer a wide range of facials for all skin types. Through consultation between yourself and a therapist we can discuss any problems you may have with your skin and find a suitable treatment to help cure any difficulties you have.
I WANT TO BUY A SKINCARE PRODUCT FOR A FRIEND BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT WOULD BE BEST, CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANYTHING?
We offer a wide range of products. Our therapists will be able to recommend something suitable. Depending on skin types and also products suitable for all skin types so you can go wrong.
CAN I BUY A GIFT VOUCHER FOR ANYTHING IN STORE?
Gift vouchers are tailor made to suit each individual person. They can be purchased for an amount of money or for any treatment of your choice. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase and can be used against any treatment of your choice, Not just what it was purchased for.
DO YOU DO HOME VISITS?
We offer home visits for Wedding services only. On the day of the wedding we can come out to your home and do the make-up for all who require it. Although a £15.00 call out charge is required.
ARE THERE ANY MEDICAL CONCERNS WHEN BUYING A GIFT FOR SOMEONE?
If you want to get a gift for a friend with any medical conditions, we can advice on which treatment would be best suited to them. All of our staff will be more than happy to help you in this situation. U can send us an email with your query, phone us, or call into the salon and we will give you as much assistance as possible.
